The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean and organized according to infection control protocols Take and develop X-rays, utilizing EMR systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient records Perform chairside assisting duties while applying four-handed dentistry techniques Conduct preliminary assessments by taking vital signs and documenting medical history in compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist with medical documentation and coding as needed Provide support in pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients Manage dental records efficiently while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy Skills Proficiency in EMR systems including Eaglesoft and Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices Experience with chairside assisting techniques and four-handed dentistry Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus Ability to perform medical imaging tasks and manage medical documentation effectively Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members professionally Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred Join our team to make a positive impact on patient care while advancing your career in the dental field!
