Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a patient-centered setting dedicated to excellence in general dentistry. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up dental instruments. Assist in a large variety of dental care including surgery, implants, endo, pediatrics, cosmetic cases, and more. Expanded functions are an expectation to ensure efficiency. Take high-quality X-ray images and operate advanced imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and CBCT machine. Manage electronic dental records via Eaglesoft accurately, ensuring all medical documentation and coding are complete and compliant with HIPAA standards. Support patient care by reviewing medical history, explaining procedures clearly using dental terminology, and addressing patient questions to foster comfort and trust. Coordinate with the dental reception team to schedule appointments. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring all tools are sterilized according to aseptic techniques. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training in chairside assisting; CPR certification preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, as well as team members like dental receptionists and hygienists.
