Job Description

Tooth Town Pediatric Dentistry in South Lyon has an opportunity for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly and fun practice! The ideal candidate is a well-rounded team player with strong clinical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine passion for working with children and their families. If you are compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 - 5. No nights or weekends! Responsibilities Responsibilities include assisting the dentist in all aspects of patient examination and treatment, including: Managing and supporting pediatric patients throughout their visits Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment Performing and monitoring infection control procedures Ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations Supporting hygiene appointments as needed Documenting treatment notes and maintaining accurate electronic patient records Taking diagnostic radiographs Providing pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and parents Educating patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices Performing additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 3-5 years of dental assisting experience preferred Experience with electronic dental records and charting systems Proficient computer skills, we use Dentrix Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with children and their parents in a fast-paced environment Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary, negotiable and based on experience 401(k) plan with employer contribution Paid time off Dental care benefits for eligible minor children Supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth Apply Today If you believe your qualifications, experience, and career goals align with our practice, we would love to hear from you.
