The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Perform infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Support various specialties including general dentistry, endodontics, pediatrics, prosthodontics, and four-handed dentistry. Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoftfor scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required. Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures. Familiarity with medical records manageme nt and HIPAA compliance. Experience or training in endodontics, pediatrics, prosthodontics, or four-handed dentistry is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
