Full-time Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at a thriving dental clinic. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists in General Dentistry.
- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques for seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
- Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting practices across different specialties
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines
