We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, passionate about helping patients achieve excellent oral health. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dental experience. Position Summary The Licensed Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care, assist with dental procedures, maintain treatment rooms, and ensure a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, and preventive procedures Take and process digital radiographs in accordance with state regulations Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols Record patient treatment information and update dental charts Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-operative care Manage dental materials and maintain inventory levels Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board requirements Support front office and clinical team members as needed Dedicated to creating a welcoming, compassionate environment for every patient Qualifications Current Dental Assistant License in the State of Minnesota Current CPR certification Radiology certification Proficient with digital impressioning scanner An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills Skilled at building trust and long-term relationships with patients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with dental software and digital imaging - Dentrix and Dexis preferred Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!
