$2,000 HIRING BONUS•Support Healthy Smiles—Join Southside Community Health Services as a Licensed Dental Assistant Southside Community Health Services (SCHS) is a full-service, non-profit healthcare clinic dedicated to improving the health of our patients and communities through exceptional care, removing barriers, and promoting healthy lifestyles. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Dental Assistant to join our oral health team and help provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the South Minneapolis community. About the Role The Licensed Dental Assistant supports the delivery of oral health services through a collaborative, team-based approach to care. This role works closely with providers and support staff to ensure patients receive exceptional treatment while helping maintain efficient clinic operations and improving access to oral health services. Key Responsibilities Provide quality oral health services within the Licensed Dental Assistant scope of practice following established best practices Support integrated, patient-centered care through collaboration with dental and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Assist with patient treatment, education, and preventive oral health services Support daily clinic operations, including equipment maintenance, supply management, and operational workflows Participate in staff meetings, training activities, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate documentation and support coding and electronic health record best practices Complete assigned administrative responsibilities, credentialing requirements, and continuing education activities Assist in the training and mentorship of dental team members as needed Help remove barriers to care by supporting efficient access to oral health services for patients What You Bring Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment Critical thinking skills and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth Ability to build positive relationships with patients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds Commitment to the SCHS mission and staff values Qualifications Diploma or degree in Dental Assisting. Valid and active Minnesota License. Current CPR Certification. Licenses and certifications in good standing. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; not required. •

Pay:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour
