Conveniently located off of 694 and 35W. Hours are Monday through Thursday. Duties Assist dentists chairside during examinations and procedures Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and maintaining aseptic technique to uphold infection control standards Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accurate positioning and patient comfort Manage patient records using EMR systems like Dentrix while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and medical records confidentiality Provide supportive, friendly patient care during procedures Coordinate with the dental reception team to schedule appointments when needed Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment following infection control protocols and anatomy knowledge to prevent cross-contamination Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and medical imaging Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control procedures Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, reception staff, and patients Join us in delivering top-tier dental care that transforms smiles!
