This is a great position for someone who already understands the flow of a dental office, enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, and wants to be part of a fast-moving, positive team.
Important:
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have at least 2 years of dental office experience to be considered. What You Will Do
  • Support doctors and licensed dental assistants with efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Seat patients, review basic visit expectations, and help create a welcoming, calm experience.
  • Prepare treatment rooms before appointments and turn over rooms quickly and thoroughly after visits.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized clinical areas according to office protocols.
  • Take clinical photographs, assist with scans or imaging workflows as directed, and help document patient visits within allowed duties.
  • Stock rooms, track supplies, and help the clinical team stay ready for each appointment.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, assistants, hygienists, and front desk team members.
  • Jump in where needed to keep the day running smoothly and support a strong patient experience. Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of dental office experience is required. Applicants without dental office experience will not be considered.
  • Comfortable working in a busy dental environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, coachable, and willing to help wherever needed.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills with patients and team members.
  • Able to follow clinical protocols, infection control procedures, and office systems consistently.
  • Must understand this is an unlicensed dental assistant role and duties must stay within Minnesota delegation rules. Preferred Experience
  • Experience with dental software, room turnover, sterilization, patient handoffs, and clinical documentation.
  • Experience in a high-volume office or multi-provider dental practice.
