The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in performing advanced clinical procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality dental care and ensuring an excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
 Perform expanded duties as permitted by state regulations, including: o Placing and contouring restorations o Applying sealants and fluoride treatments o Taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns o Cementing permanent crowns  Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures  Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories  Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)  Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care  Maintain accurate patient records and documentation  Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols  Support front office tasks as needed (scheduling, patient communication) Qualifications  EFDA certification (required, per state regulations)  Current dental radiology certification  CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required)  1+ years of dental assisting experience (EFDA experience preferred)  Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment  Commitment to patient care and confidentiality Benefits  Health and dental insurance  Paid time off and holidays  Retirement plan options  Continuing education opportunities  Supportive and team-oriented work environment
