Responsibilities include assisting our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. Responsibilities:

Clinical Support Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures Assist the dentist chairside during exams and treatments (four-handed dentistry) Take digital dental radiographs Perform moisture control (HVE, isolation techniques, rubber dam placement) Pass instruments and anticipate provider needs during procedures Chart existing conditions and treatment findings in Dentrix Make temporary crowns and bridges Monitor Nitrous Oxide Sedation as certified Expanded Functions duties as certified Patient Care Escort patients to and from treatment rooms Review medical histories and update records Provide post-operative instructions and patient education Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Infection Control & Sterilization Follow OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization logs Prepare and break down the operating rooms between patients Monitor inventory of PPE and clinical supplies Administrative Support (as needed) Schedule patient appointments Assist with insurance documentation and treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records in
