•Voted Kansas City's Favorite Dentist!•We are looking to add a another dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a fun but productive office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental professionals in delivering effective treatments. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Record and update patient medical documentation accurately, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, confirming visits, and maintaining an organized front office. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Monitor vital signs as necessary during procedures to ensure patient safety. Maintain the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and treatment areas. Support various specialties including general dentistry, endodontics, and other dental systems as required.
