The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of dental office management, and proficiency with dental practice management software Open Dental. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing practice efficiency to deliver exceptional patient care. The Lead Front Desk Assistant will serve as a vital link between clinical staff, administrative personnel, and patients, fostering a professional and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to ensure smooth workflow Supervise administrative staff and human resources functions Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information Ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as OSHA regulations Facilitate communication between patients, providers, insurance companies (managed care), and vendors Qualifications Proven experience in dental office front desk Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in a healthcare setting Proficiency with dental practice management software Open Dental preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills to liaise with staff members, patients, insurance providers, and external vendors This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a reputable dental practice dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care through efficient practice management.
