We are seeking a highly motivated Oral Surgery Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. Experience in oral surgery is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong medical or dental background. Starting pay is $18/ hour and up, depending on experience. Position Overview This role is ideal for a: Oral Surgery Assistant Dental Assistant (RDA) If you thrive in a clinical setting, are detail-oriented, and enjoy patient care in a surgical environment, we would love to meet you. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeon during oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures (extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, IV sedation cases, All-on-4 procedures, etc.) Monitor patients during IV sedation (vitals, oxygen saturation, blood pressure) Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments (autoclave, infection control protocols) Turn over operatories efficiently Take digital X-rays and CBCT scans Review medical histories and update patient charts Provide post-operative instructions Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance Stock surgical rooms and manage supplies Support front office when needed Deliver exceptional patient care and communication Qualifications ✔ Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) preferred ✔ Oral surgery experience strongly preferred ✔ X-ray certification preferred ✔ CPR/BLS certification required ✔ IV sedation monitoring experience a plus ✔ Strong attention to detail ✔ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced surgical setting ✔ Professional appearance and communication skills What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid time off Paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within oral surgery specialty Why Join Oral Surgery?
