Position Overview:
As a Treatment Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure patients understand their treatment options, financial arrangements, and overall care process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and experience in a dental setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients to discuss their treatment plans, explain procedures, and answer any questions they may have.
- Review and explain dental insurance benefits and coverage to patients.
- Present and discuss financial arrangements, including payment plans, to ensure patients are comfortable and informed.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, scheduling, and any necessary paperwork.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and financial agreements in practice management software.
- Build strong relationships with patients to enhance their experience and encourage treatment acceptance.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the treatment schedule to maximize efficiency.
- Stay up to date with office policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Assist with dental procedures ensuring patient safety.
- Assist with operatory set up and breakdown.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Inventory management and supply orders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator or similar role in a dental practice is preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, insurance, and financial arrangements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex information in a clear and patient-friendly manner.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
