Seeking a valued team member who is hard working, compassionate, and friendly. Experience in the dental field or completion of a dental assistant certificate program is necessary to be considered for this position . Experience doesn't have to be specific to the specialty of endodontics . Character and work ethic are of the upmost importance. Applicant must be willing to learn new things, be teachable, and open to constructive feedback. Long-term fit is the ultimate goal. A positive and pleasant work environment is incredibly important to our office. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Average 36-38 hours per week. 7:30am - 4:30pm. Only four days a week with an occasional fifth (Fridays). No weekends. Please submit resume/CV and cover letter (tell me about yourself) to email provided. Responsibilities Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Provide post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments - Help Front Desk Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Proven experience as dental assistant (General or Specialty) or certification (Necessary) Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills (Very Important) Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable (Dependability and Punctuality Very Important) High school diploma
