Job Description

Assist Dr. Clark in serving our patients to ensure they leave our practice with a smile and feeling cared for. Additional dental assisting responsibilities include preparing the work area and equipment for procedures, educating patients on dental needs and options, and being efficient with 4-handed dentistry. Compensation:
$30,000 - $40,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients' mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist Record each patients treatment information during their visit and ensure dental records have the most current information Support staff with administrative duties such as saying hello to patients, answering phones and making appointments for upcoming dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile Provide extraordinary patient care by assisting the dentist during clinical procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to clinical standards Take and process dental radiographs and impressions as needed Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and post-operative care Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with office protocols Demonstrate excellent time management to keep the schedule running efficiently Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members Assist with sterilization, infection control, and overall office organization
Qualifications:
Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service Superb multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills Able to perform basic computer and data entry tasks 3-5 years of experience working as a Dental Assistant Strong communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities Passion for patient care and professional growth Comfortable using dental software and modern technology Creative mindset with an interest in social media and marketing Reliable, honest, and self-motivated About Company Our priority is helping patients achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy & confident smiles.
