As a Dental Assistant, you play an integral role in delivering exceptional dental care and quality of work for our patients.
Qualifications:
Have a strong work ethic. Be a team player Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be attentive to detail and has the ability to multitask effectively. EFDA (Expanded function dental assistant) preferred.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments. Take dental x-rays. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Handle or communicate financial information about patients' treatment and appointments. Perform and maintain accurately detailed patients' records. Assist and/or take high quality impressions for restorations. Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
- Proficiency in EagleSoft preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental prosthetics is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental documentation and coding.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
