Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic Team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support during orthodontic procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth clinic operation. Provide support in all orthodontic cases, demonstrating patience and understanding with all patients. Requirements Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental software systems is an advantage. Ability to manage records efficiently while maintaining confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
