Dentrix Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental and surgical procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Use aseptic technique to prevent the spread of infection
- Assist with documentation using Dentrix dental software
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program is preferred, but will train if motivated to go into field
- Valid certification or license as a dental assistant is preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using dental software for scheduling, documentation, and coding and we will train in Dentrix We have great hours Monday
- Thursday.
