In this energized role, you will provide vital support to dentists across a range of specialties, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Your proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix, along with your knowledge of HIPAA regulations, will ensure seamless patient experiences and strict compliance. Outstanding Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Health Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 401(k) with Employer Match Employee Dental Benefits Continuing Education Opportunities Supportive and Growth-Oriented Team Environment Work With Advanced Technology Our office is committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry and utilizes: iTero Lumina Scanner iTero 5D Scanner Trios 5 Scanner Primescan CBCT Imaging OralID Oral Cancer Screening Biolase Waterlase Laser Fotona Laser Technology Digital Radiography Invisalign Treatment Responsibilities Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort Fabricate high-quality temporary crowns and bridges Perform cord packing and tissue management procedures Take and develop digital radiographs and medical imaging, including 3D scans, ensuring accurate positioning and safety standards are met Perform coronal polishing Assist with Invisalign cases and digital scanning Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Manage patient records meticulously within EMR systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical documentation standards Perform chairside assisting by monitoring vital signs and providing post-operative instructions tailored to pediatric and adult patients Prepare and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines Support efficient patient flow and exceptional patient experiences Maintain treatment rooms and operatories Assist with specialized procedures in prosthodontics, endodontics, and other dental specialties as needed Assist with inventory management and clinical organization Required Qualifications Dental Assistant II Certification Coronal Polishing Certification Current CPR Certification Current Radiography Certification OSHA Certification HIPAA Certification Thorough understanding of SPICE principles and infection control protocols Ability to fabricate temporary crowns and bridges independently Experience with cord packing and restorative procedures Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for interacting effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Invisalign experience Experience with digital scanners Experience with cosmetic and restorative dentistry Nitrous Oxide Certification Expanded function experience Familiarity with Epic EMR systems Who Will Thrive Here?
