Our fast-growing, high-production private dental practice is expanding and looking for a motivated Dental Assistant ready to accelerate their career. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to master advanced surgical assisting (implants, extractions, bone grafting, sedation, and complex cases) while building the skills and experience needed to move into leadership roles such as Lead Surgical Assistant or Clinical Team Lead. If you're eager to grow technically, take on more responsibility, mentor others, and make a real impact on patient outcomes and team performance, this role is built for you. Key Responsibilities Provide chairside surgical and general dental assisting with a focus on advanced procedures Prepare and maintain surgical suites, instruments, and sterilization protocols to the highest standards Support general dental procedures, implant placements, extractions, bone grafting, and other surgical cases Deliver exceptional patient care and comfort Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to ensure smooth, efficient workflows Take on increasing leadership responsibilities, including training new assistants, mentoring on surgical and general dental assisting techniques, and helping improve clinical systems Maintain infection control, radiography, and documentation standards Requirements 1+ year of dental assisting experience (strongly preferred) Surgical assisting experience is a big plus — we will invest heavily in candidates who want to grow in this area Current North Carolina certifications (CPR, Dental Radiography, etc.) Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused mindset Leadership potential — you naturally help others, look for ways to improve processes, and think like a future team leader What We Offer - Real Growth & Career Advancement Structured mentorship and hands-on training in advanced surgical procedures Clear career pathway into Lead Surgical Assistant, Clinical Supervisor, or practice leadership roles Opportunities to lead training sessions, develop surgical protocols, and contribute to team growth Full-time clinical hours: Monday-Thursday (Fridays as needed) Competitive pay based on experience + performance incentives Supportive, positive, and team-oriented culture Comprehensive benefits package
