In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to efficient clinic operations and outstanding patient experiences. Duties Assist dentists chairside during endodontic procedures. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining strict aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools Manage patient records accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems , ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient privacy Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and adherence to OSHA guidelines Support four-handed dentistry practices by working efficiently alongside the dental team to optimize patient care Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred but not required Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols is essential Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, medical imaging, and 3D scanning technology Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and documentation Demonstrated ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages and supporting the dental team effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their career in dental assisting while making a positive impact on patients' oral health.
