Bilingual Processing Assistant - Dental

Hours:

Between the hours of 7:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week

The Processing Assistant for the dental program supports clinical and community activities by handling customer service, data entry, word processing, and performing clerical duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

Greets and registers patients and visitors Interviews clients and obtains financial information, medical and personal data Ensures confidentiality of data, obtains necessary signatures for release of confidential data Maintains dental appointment schedule within specified scheduling guidelines Provides orientation to new patientsMaintains working knowledge of NC Medicaid, NC Tracks, iDentalSoft software and common insurance plans Ensures data is entered accurately

Education/Experience:

Graduation from high school or equivalent. Associates degree or higher preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish required. Experience in medical or dental office setting. Experience with medical and/or dental software and NC Tacks. Bilingual assessment must be passed pre-hire.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
