Job Description

Seeking highly motivated and energetic Certified Dental Assistant or DA II to join our small privately owned dental office. We strive to make our work environment something that is exciting to come to everyday with a big emphasis on teamwork. We are looking for someone who is motivated to help patients feel comfortable, improve systems within the office for efficiency, and be confident talking to patients about treatment. Our General Dentistry practice has a philosophy that promotes whole body health, starting with breathing and airway. Background knowledge in this space is helpful but not expected. Candidate should be self driven with a never stop learning attitude. We do a wide range of dental procedures including restorative, crown and bridge, dental implants, cosmetic procedures including veneers and whitening, oral surgery, removable partials and dentures, sleep appliances, clear aligners, CEREC, and endodontics. An assistant with experience in many of these areas is a plus! Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant/ DA II with proficiency in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and 3D scanning. Experience in general dentistry, prosthodontics, surgery and endodontics. CEREC experience is useful but not required. Skilled in aseptic technique and knowledgeable in anatomy. Familiarity with EMR systems, OpenDental, and HIPAA. Additional expertise in X-Ray, dental receptionist duties, and four-handed dentistry. Knowledge of vital signs and reviewing medical history.
