Dental Assistant

Our growing practice is looking for a Certified DAII to join our team full-time. Our team provides comprehensive care for patients in a caring environment. Assistants must have great attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills. Previous assisting experience preferred. DAII and x-ray certification required. Responsibilities Welcoming patients and creating a comforting environment Packing retraction cord and fabricating temporary crowns Banding for interproximal composites Taking manual impressions and intra-oral scanning Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Sterilzation of instruments and setting up operatories for treatment Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Schedule appointments Skills Fabricating temporary crowns, packing retraction cord, and banding for composites Proven experience as dental assistant Attention to detail and being proactive Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Excellent communication and people skills DA II preferred
