Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm Are you a dental assistant looking for your new dental home? O2 Dental Group is seeking a motivated, energetic, and patient-focused Hygiene Assistant / DAI or DAII to join our growing team. Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits Supportive, passionate leadership and team culture Opportunity to grow your skills and career in a modern dental practice Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and setting up dental instruments and equipment, including x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials Assist dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and accessibility at all times Perform coronal polishing in accordance with certification and state guidelines Assist with and administer N₂O (nitrous oxide) as permitted by certification Take ordered dental X-rays using NC X-ray Certification Assist patients with intake forms, consents, vitals, and introductory documentation Provide postoperative instructions to patients to support proper oral care and prevent infection Maintain strict compliance with all OSHA, HIPAA, state, and federal regulations Support sterilization of instruments and facility according to the required standards Perform administrative duties including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, managing inventory, and handling lab submissions and follow-ups Deliver exceptional service by "wowing" each patient, every visit Assist providers and patients with all aspects of chairside care within the scope of certification Complete additional duties as assigned by doctors and business leaders Qualifications & Requirements Dental Assistant I (DAI) certification (NC) Coronal Polishing Certification required NC X-ray Certification required Passion for dentistry and patient care Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to professionalism, safety, and compliance If you're ready to take the next step in your dental career and be part of a team that truly loves what they do, apply today and discover your future with O2 Dental Group or TEXT (910)690-5926.
