The role of a Dental Assistant can provide you with the: Ability to communicate and interact with patients to build an inclusive patient experience Ability to blend problem-solving and decision-making to positively impact the patient experience and resolve patient concerns Ability to adapt to different patient interactions and situations As a Dental Assistant, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the patient service experience by delivering the service standard. Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting patients Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance Work in safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILIES
Assist with root canal and surgical procedures. Take intra-oral and/or 3D x-ray of patients. Turn over chairs and sterilize and prepare instrument trays for procedures. Clean and perform routine maintenance of equipment. Work with patient service front desk staff to coordinate daily patient flow. Work in a team environment with other dental assistants to perform daily job duties. Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (i.e. OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPPA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices). Ability to lift ~20 pounds

REQUIRED SKILLS
