Job Description
Job Summary Join our dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! Partner with the dentist during procedures, ensure smooth clinic operations, and support patients throughout their visits. Manage OSHA. Your expertise in chairside assisting and patient communication is key to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel listened to and cared for. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your skills in a professional setting dedicated to oral health excellence. Duties Assist dentist chairside during procedures. Take dental X-rays, including iTero scans. Manage patient records using Dentrix software while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collect medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments. Provide excellent customer service answering patient inquiries. Work with small team to make sure patients are taken care for by answering phones and taking payments when needed. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting and taking X-rays. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Knowledge of general dentistry procedures along with specialized fields like prosthodontics and endodontics. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the dental team and provide clear instructions to patients. Familiarity with LD Pankey and Pete Dawson comprehensive dentistry and occlusion helpful
