  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will comfortably join our small team, assist the dentist with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients.
  • Duties:
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories
  • Assist dentists during procedures, including general dentistry, pediatrics, extractions, implants and endodontics
  • Take dental X-rays; with Dental Radiology certification
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing
  • Maintain clean work spaces
  • Educate patients on oral health
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique and medical terminology
  • Organization
  • Typing and note taking
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Familiarity with dental procedures such as endodontics and pediatric dentistry
  • Understanding of dental anatomy and medical imaging techniques
