Job Description

Overview Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. In this energized role, you will assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensure the highest standards of infection control, and provide exceptional support to create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your proficiency with dental technology and patient management will be vital in delivering top-tier dental services in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment Assist the dentist chairside during procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics , ensuring smooth workflow Take and scan digital dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging and 3D scans, adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Eaglesoft), ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards Monitor vital signs and medical history to support safe treatment planning for patients with diverse health backgrounds Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care while addressing their questions confidently and professionally Support front desk duties by assisting the dental receptionist with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/out processes Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in your state or region Experience in general dentistry settings, including pediatric dentistry and specialty areas such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft, for managing medical records and coding procedures accurately Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards Familiarity with medical terminology and medical imaging techniques relevant to dental care Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate patients about their treatments Join us to make a meaningful difference in our patients' lives through energized service delivery! $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
