Job Description

We are hiring a dental assistant to join our dental team! The Dental Assistant should be skilled in providing patient care and be able to work collaboratively with the dentist and other team members. Job Requirements:
At least one year of experience as a dental assistant preferred. Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write and speak the English language. Ability to write coherent messages and present information to others through various types of media. Knowledgeable in the use dental instruments including handpieces, intra-oral photography, x-ray machines, etc. per regulations. Radiology certification would be ideal. Willing to train the right people. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments. Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs, adhering to safety protocols. Document patient information and treatment plans in EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Equipment maintenance, maintain dental supplies, write referrals as needed.
