Dental Assistant Job Overview :

•. The ideal Dental Assistant will assist in providing quality dental care and help improve patients' oral health.

Responsibilities of Dental Assistant:

• Assist the dentist and/or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown treatment rooms
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays). MUST hold an x-ray license.
• Manage infection control
• prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
