Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of providing exceptional oral healthcare. In this energetic role, you will support dentists in delivering efficient, comfortable, and comprehensive dental treatments. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. This paid position offers opportunities to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to excellence in dental care. Responsibilities Appointments scheduling, treatment plans coordination, insurance verification. Taking digital x-rays and helping with sterilization and cleaning rooms after patients when needed. Greeting patients and walking them into the treatment rooms. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry, pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics and Oral surgery. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology is essential for effective communication and patient care. Hands-on experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, orOpen Dental is required for managing patient information efficiently. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes ensures a safe environment for patients and staff. Knowledge of dental assisting procedures including taking X-rays, vital signs measurement, and chairside support enhances your ability to contribute immediately. Experience with 3D scanners or advanced medical imaging tools is a plus but not mandatory. A strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and dental insurance knowledge guarantees confidentiality and compliance with healthcare privacy standards. $25.04 - $30.16 per hour
