Dental Assistant

Dental Design Smile is looking for an experienced and well-rounded Dental Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone who is comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a busy dental environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident assisting with surgical procedures. This role requires someone who can help keep the day running smoothly, support the clinical team, and provide excellent care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Assist with dental procedures, including implants, extractions, and bone grafting Take impressions for night guards and retainers Prepare, clean, and organize operatories before and after each patient Maintain proper sterilization and infection control standards Take detailed clinical notes and ensure patient records are accurate Follow up with patients as needed Track supplies and communicate when items need to be ordered Complete forms and documentation accurately Support the team with both clinical and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

Previous dental assisting experience required Experience assisting with dental surgeries, including implants, extractions, and bone grafting Comfortable taking impressions for night guards and retainers Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to take detailed notes and complete documentation accurately Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Experience with Open Dental is a strong plus Must be reliable and able to start the day promptly at 9:00

AM Schedule:

This is a full-day position starting promptly at 9:00 AM and continuing through the last patient of the day. Exact end times may vary depending on the patient schedule.
