Dental Assistant

General dentistry practice looking to add an assistant who can help around the practice and be responsible for sterilization. Person needs to have excellent customer service skills, is a team player, is comfortable in comforting patients, experienced in dentistry, is punctual, reliable and highly organized.

Mon 9-5, Tue 9-5, Wed 9-7, Thu 9-7, Fri 9-5, every other Sat 9-2. Salary based on experience, communication skills, flexibility, potential, knowledge of dentistry, surgery, and knowledge of Spanish. Thank you! Responsibilities Assist the hygienist chairside during procedures, ensuring proper tools and equipment are available. Provide patient practice tours, manage flow of patients from in and out of the back office. Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to support the dental team. Maintain sterilization area, now proper infection control and proper clean up of the instrumentation. Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with patients and provide excellent customer service.
