Dental Assistant Mountainside Family Dental Mountainside, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork General dentistry Patient care Dental Assisting Certified Dental Assistant Full Job Description Mountainside Family Dental is looking for a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing private practice in Mountainside, NJ. You'll be joining a busy, supportive clinical team that includes five doctors, an orthodontist, and two hygienists, with opportunities to assist in general dentistry, orthodontics, surgery, implants, endodontics, digital scanning, CAD/CAM, and 3D printing. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in a busy but supportive office. Experience is helpful, but we are happy to provide training and mentorship for the right person. As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in helping our doctors provide quality care and creating a positive experience for our patients. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, professional, and patient-focused Reliable, organized, and willing to take initiative Eager to learn and improve Comfortable working in a team environment Open to feedback and hands-on training Interested in learning modern dental technology Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Assisting doctors during a wide range of dental procedures Preparing and turning over operatories Sterilization and infection control Taking dental x-rays when properly licensed Using digital intraoral scanning technology Assisting with CAD/CAM and 3D printing workflows Supporting patient flow and clinical handoffs Helping maintain supplies and treatment rooms Assisting with orthodontic, surgical, restorative, and general dental procedures Working with the team to provide a great patient experience Requirements Strong communication skills Warm, professional attitude Teamwork mindset Willingness to learn and grow Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate Dental x-ray license, CDA, or license in progress preferred Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: based on experience, availability, licensing, and qualifications. Benefits vary based on full-time or part-time status
