Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures, ensuring all tools and materials are prepared efficiently. Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners while adhering to strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by following infection control standards and ensuring all dental instruments are sterilized properly. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care to promote ongoing dental wellness. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental procedures across general dentistry specialties. Experience with chairside assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry, to enhance efficiency during treatments. Skilled in taking accurate X-rays and operating advanced imaging tools like 3D scanners while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, providing compassionate care and clear instructions.

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
