Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental procedures across general dentistry specialties. Experience with chairside assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry, to enhance efficiency during treatments. Skilled in taking accurate X-rays and operating advanced imaging tools like 3D scanners while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, providing compassionate care and clear instructions.
