Job Description

Orthodontic Dental Assistant

(X-ray Certification/RDA) Somerset Orthodontic Specialists is looking for its newest team member to join our growing clinical team at our Somerville, Hillsborough and Skillman Locations. Dr. Peterman and our team are established as one the leading orthodontic practices in New Jersey. We pride ourselves on providing the best orthodontic care using the latest technology in a fun and friendly atmosphere. As a team member we will support you from the first day in learning how to provide the best orthodontic care. We take pride in treating our team members like family and make a point to have fun both in the office and routinely have staff events outside the office. Primary Responsibilities Include
  • Digital dental photography
  • Digital X-rays
  • Itero Scanning for records, Invisalign, and all appliances
  • Utilization of 3D Printers and retainer fabrication
  • Digital charting (we are a fully digital office)
  • Sterilization
  • Patient education with a focus on oral hygiene
  • Chairside patient care and assisting
  • Daily setup and maintenance of clinical area Benefits include
