In this energetic and fast-paced position, you will support dentists during a variety of procedures, ensure smooth clinic operations, and foster a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will help us maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.   • 9:00am-2:00pm Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques.
Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging with 3D scanners when applicable, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout procedures to ensure a positive experience. Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions clearly and compassionately. Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Active License and DANB Ability to perform chairside assisting with skills in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and specialists like prosthodontists or endodontists.
