As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting patient care and ensuring smooth, efficient dental operations . Position Summary Working under the supervision of the Dentist, you'll assist in providing dental care while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized clinical environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the dentist chair-side during exams and procedures Preparing patients for treatment and supporting dental hygiene education Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards Setting up and breaking down treatment areas and equipment Taking and processing intra-oral x-rays as permitted Maintaining accurate patient records within the medical record system Managing dental supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance Supporting dental sick call and emergency screenings Ensuring the dental clinic remains clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations You'll go beyond assisting.
