This vital position ensures patient records are accurate and up to date, maintains the highest standards of sterilization and infection control, and performs a variety of chair-side tasks to assist the doctor throughout each patient visit. What You'll Do:

• Greet patients with a smile to create a joyful impression
• Take orthodontic records, including photographs, X-rays and digital scans
• Maintain accurate and organized patient documentation
• Ensure proper sterilization and preparation of instruments
• Perform station set-up, chair-side tasks, assist the doctor, and clean-up stations after each patient visit
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, while following OSHA standards
• Enter all information efficiently and accurately in the practice management software

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years' experience as an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant with sterilization experience
• 2+ years' experience inputting information into a practice management software (preferably Dolphin)
• 1+ years' experience answering phones and greeting patients
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Computer/tech savvy; ability to learn new technology easily
• Ability to stand on feet a minimum of 8 hours a day
• High level of understanding of HIPPA Compliance Regulations

Schedule & Expectations:

This part-time position requires the flexibility to work 3 days a week with a rotating schedule. The shift starts at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. with a 1 hour and 15-minute lunch schedule. The successful candidate will have the ability to stay later on rare occasions to service patient needs past 5:00 p.m.

Compensation:
