Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of dental assisting experience, Bilingual English and Spanish. Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments. Experience with Dentrix. Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Dental Assistant and become a vital part of providing exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists in delivering efficient, high-quality treatments while ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for. Your expertise in dental procedures, patient communication, and infection control will help create a welcoming environment where patients can achieve their best smiles. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry and Implants. Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use following aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-ray images, utilizing medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners when applicable, while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Provide chairside assistance by handling dental terminology accurately, managing medical documentation, and supporting procedures with four-handed dentistry techniques. Manage patient records efficiently using Dentrix. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry or pediatric dentistry practices. Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is essential for managing electronic health records effectively.nFamiliarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and anatomy knowledge ensures safe practice standards are maintained at all times. Hands-on experience with dental assisting tasks including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and operating dental imaging equipment like 3D scanners is highly valued. Understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation practices guarantees confidentiality and proper handling of patient information.
