Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile environment using aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and efficiency Take and develop X-ray images, including 3D scans, while maintaining proper safety standards and ensuring accurate medical documentation Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Educate patients on dental terminology, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices to promote ongoing health and wellness Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling administrative tasks with professionalism Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental assisting techniques and anatomy Familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety guidelines Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding related to dental procedures Experience supporting pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and healthcare providers Join us in making a difference by providing compassionate, high-quality dental care.
