Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, assisting the dentist and ensuring the comfort of our patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and trimming models
  • Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
  • Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
  • Experience with Dentrix dental practice management software
  • Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
