The ideal candidate is pleasant, responsible, very organized, and receptive to feedback and coaching. We are looking for a candidate who will help make the practice more efficient and pleasant for patients, enabling the dentist to be more productive, and ensuring an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Set up instrument trays, equipment, and materials, as needed
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
  • Take weekly supply inventory and place supply orders
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of dental assistant experience
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
  • Proficiency in using intra-oral scanner is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Must be organized and reliable, and punctual with a positive attitude.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
