Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and administrative skills to assist in various dental procedures while also managing patient interactions effectively.•
DENTAL ASSISTING 1 YEAR REQUIRED
•Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Provide chairside assistance in various dental specialties, including general dentistry, endodontics, pediatric, and prosthodontics. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and staff. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, with knowledge of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with imaging technologies and software such as Dentrix is a plus. Strong understanding of dental terminology to facilitate effective communication. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory. Must be committed to ongoing professional development within the field of dentistry.
