Dental Assistant (Part-Time)
  • $29•31/hr | 3 Days/Week | Community Health Center CEC Health Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide medical, dental, and behavioral health services to historically underserved members of our community.   • Bethpage Dental Assistant Responsibilities Provide chairside dental assisting during procedures Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with NYS regulations Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms Assist with dental lab procedures Maintain clinical supplies and dental equipment Support patient scheduling and appointment confirmations Communicate professionally with patients and caregivers Qualifications Required New York State Dental Assistant Certification Ability to take dental radiographs (X-rays) Strong patient communication and customer service skills Preferred 2+ years dental assistant experience Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) About CEC Health Care CEC Health Care is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to individuals with limited incomes and complex healthcare needs, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, chemical dependency, and behavioral health concerns.
