Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to advancing their career in dental assisting. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take and develop dental X-rays Manage patient flow efficiently, including greeting patients as a dental receptionist when needed Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent infection transmission Order supplies for office, ensuring office is properly stocked Ensure compliance with all OSHA standards and infection control guidelines Requirements Ability to learn new procedures, from infection control, assisting techniques to acquiring X-ray imaging and handling medical imaging equipment safely Some understanding of dental terminology and infection control practices Certification or training in chairside assisting and aseptic technique preferred Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Hours Monday 12 pm-8 pm Tuesday 8 am-2 pm Wednesday 8 am- 2 pm Thursday 8 am-2 pm This position provides an excellent opportunity for career growth within the dental field for motivated individuals committed to delivering quality patient care.
