Job Description

Position Summary Our practice delivers a full spectrum of dental services, including preventive care, restorative procedures, implant dentistry, oral surgery, periodontal therapy, prosthodontics, and pediatric treatment. We are seeking a Dental Assistant who demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and the ability to support a high‑volume, comprehensive clinical environment. Prior experience is preferred; however, qualified candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn will be considered. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures across all disciplines of general dentistry Prepare, maintain, and disinfect operatories, instruments, and equipment in accordance with established infection control and sterilization protocols Capture and process digital radiographs and intraoral images Accurately document clinical information and procedures within Open Dental (training provided as needed) Utilize Microsoft Office applications or demonstrate the ability to learn software systems efficiently Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality and all HIPAA regulations Support daily clinical operations, including instrument sterilization, operatory turnover, and schedule flow Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, providers, and team members Adapt to procedural variety, schedule changes, and unanticipated clinical needs throughout the day Qualifications Prior dental assisting experience preferred; training available for candidates with strong potential Knowledge of medical and dental terminology Ability to learn new software and technology quickly Strong organizational skills, accuracy in documentation, and attention to detail Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Consistent adherence to infection control, safety standards, and patient privacy requirements Reliable, punctual, and able to function effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment Candidate Profile Demonstrates a professional and positive demeanor Shows readiness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving clinical demands Comfortable working across all areas of dentistry without limitation Maintains composure and flexibility when unexpected situations aris
